This quarter I learned a lot about the legalites and history concerning media and how it affects my everyday life. I was particularly interested in the public relation topic since I have thoughts of pursuing a possible career in that direction. Since I am not a journalism major, it was definitely interesting to be in a class that was filled with extremely passionate individuals and taught me different lessons that I will consider on my academic journey and in the outside world. As for the first amendment I always only considered it to be related to freedom of speech but can now say I have a whole new understanding of what the first amendment actually means especially when it came to my research paper.
